The online Master of Education in Adult Education is designed for graduates and in-service professionals who are seeking growth and development opportunities in their work with adults. Many of our students in this program work within industries such as health care, public services, post-secondary education and workforce development.
The Adult Education Master’s supports competency development in three areas: bridging theory and practice; fostering critical reflection; and advocating for socially just practices.
Students of the online Master of Education program can choose between completing an Action Research Project or a Major Academic Report. These final projects make important connections between theory and practice in the field of adult education.

Yorkville University is designated by the Minister of Post-Secondary Education, Training, and Labour under the New Brunswick Degree Granting Act to offer its Master of Education in Educational Leadership. The Teacher Certification branch of the Department of Education and Early Childhood Education has approved the Master of Education in Educational Leadership for use towards a higher Teacher Certification, as well as for Principal’s Certification.

Yorkville University offers five programs that are designated in New Brunswick and are delivered online: a Doctor of Counselling and Psychotherapy, a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP), a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA General), a Master of Education in Adult Education (M.Ed.), and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership (M.Ed.). The New Brunswick campus also offers an online associate diploma in Interior Decorating, a Graduate Certificate in Education (GCE): Leadership in Social Justice, and a Graduate Certificate in Education (GCE): Teaching and Learning.
Yorkville University also offers a Bachelor of Business Administration (General), and with specializations in Accounting, Energy Management, Project Management and Supply Chain Management. These programs have received consent in British Columbia and are delivered on campus and online.
In Ontario, Yorkville University offers a Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialization in Project Management, a Bachelor of Interior Design (BID), and a Bachelor of Creative Arts, all of which are delivered on campus and online.
The institution has been granted a consent by the Ministry of Colleges and Universities (MCU) to offer the BBA for a 7-year term starting 04/06/2017 and the BID for a 5-year term starting 04/06/2017 and the BCA for a 7-year term starting 12/17/2020. Prospective students are responsible for satisfying themselves that the program and the degree will be appropriate to their needs (e.g., acceptable to potential employers, professional licensing bodies or other educational institutions).
